MULTI-SKILLED METAL FABRICATOR / SHEETMETAL TRADESPERSON Hallam | Full Time | $38-$40/hr Overtime Want to work in a workshop where you're more than just a number? We're seeking a hands-on, multi-skilled Metal Fabricator / Sheetmetal Tradesperson to join a growing small workshop in Hallam that values quality workmanship, team culture, and reliable people. This is not repetitive factory production work. You'll be involved in a variety of fabrication projects working across stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium using a range of machinery and fabrication techniques. What You'll Be Doing General Sheetmetal and metal fabrication MIG & TIG welding Fabricating and assembling custom components Operating workshop machinery including: Brake Press Guillotine Rollers Drill Presses Reading and interpreting workshop drawings Working on a variety of fabrication projects Maintaining a safe and organised workshop What We're Looking For Trade qualified Metal Fabricator or relevant experience Strong TIG and/or MIG welding skills Experience with Sheetmetal fabrication Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Reliable with a strong work ethic Someone who enjoys working in a small team environment Ability to work independently and get the job done Highly Regarded Laser cutting experience Experience working with stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel Why You'll Want This Role Small workshop with a great team culture Early finish every Friday Stable, full-time permanent position Variety of work — no boring repetitive days Overtime opportunities available Supportive management and friendly environment Immediate start available Opportunity to grow with the business Hours Monday - Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm Friday: 7:00am - 1:00pm Pay Rate $38-$40 per hour depending on experience If you're looking for a solid long-term opportunity with a good crew, quality work, and a business that values its employees — apply now.
