As a Building Supervisor at Alien Homes, you will be responsible for overseeing residential construction projects from commencement through to completion, ensuring quality workmanship, compliance and timely project delivery. This position requires strong leadership, organisational skills and attention to detail. Responsibilities and Tasks: Coordinate and supervise day-to-day construction activities across custom residential building projects. Monitor construction progress to ensure works are completed in accordance with approved plans, specifications and project schedules. Inspect completed works to ensure compliance with building codes, quality standards and company requirements. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, tradespeople and suppliers to achieve project milestones. Identify construction issues, defects or delays and implement corrective actions to minimise project impacts. Review construction drawings and specifications and provide guidance to site personnel where required. Monitor site safety practices and ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety legislation and company policies. Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, inspections and project documentation. Liaise with clients, consultants, certifiers and project stakeholders regarding construction progress and site matters. Assist with procurement planning, material deliveries and resource allocation to support efficient project delivery. Qualifications and Skills: Relevant qualification. Minimum 1 year experience as a Building Supervisor. Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, building regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications and project schedules. Strong problem-solving abilities and commitment to quality workmanship. Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000 - $95,000 p.a plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
