The Role We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to take full responsibility for the day-to-day and strategic management of venue operations. This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing restaurant, bar, and function operations, managing staff performance, and ensuring the commercial and operational success of the business. The role reports to senior management and plays a key part in maintaining service standards, driving profitability, and supporting business growth. Key Responsibilities · Manage overall restaurant and bar operations across all service periods · Lead and develop front-of-house staff including recruitment, rostering, training, and performance management · Monitor financial performance including budgeting, cost control, and profitability targets · Coordinate functions and events ensuring seamless delivery across departments · Oversee stock control, purchasing, and supplier management · Maintain compliance with licensing, food safety, and workplace health and safety requirements Candidates must hold current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), Food Safety certification and Approved Manager Card · Manage customer feedback and implement service improvement strategies · Ensure efficient coordination between kitchen, bar, and service teams · Contribute to business planning and operational improvements About You · Minimum 3 years' experience as a Restaurant Manager or equivalent senior management role in a busy hospitality venue · Demonstrated experience managing staff, budgets, and venue operations · Strong understanding of food, beverage, and service standards · Proven ability to lead teams in high-volume environments · Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills · Experience with POS and booking systems · Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
