Why join us? • Be part of something bigger – Work across all Metricon retail brands, influencing products at a national level. • Create with purpose – Contribute to designs that improve customer experience and everyday living. • Learn the Metricon way – Be mentored by experienced creative leaders. • Grow your career – Structured development, real pathways, and opportunities to progress • A culture you’ll enjoy – Supportive, collaborative and genuinely engaged team environment Reporting to the Design Operations Lead, your responsibilities will include: Based in our stylish Robina office, you will play an integral role in supporting the development, management and evolution of our product range You will work closely with Product Designers and cross-functional teams, contributing to both new and existing designs, bringing concepts to life through thoughtful documentation and detail Assist in the development and documentation of home designs across the product range Prepare accurate and well-resolved design documentation aligned with briefs and delivery programs Contribute to floorplans, facades, site plans, internal layouts, and design options Support product management activities across both current and new designs Work collaboratively across teams to deliver outcomes within project timeframes Develop a strong understanding of the Metricon product suite and design principles; and Stay across relevant building codes, standards, and approval processes. The successful candidate will have: A genuine passion for residential design and creating better living environments A relevant qualification in Building Design, Drafting, or similar Minimum 3 years’ experience in a design or drafting role Experience in volume residential building (highly regarded) Strong capability in Revit (or similar CAD software) Solid understanding of building codes and planning requirements A collaborative mindset with strong communication skills; and A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
