About the role Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Boilermakers to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on role involves the fabrication, assembly, repair and modification of heavy transport equipment and components. Working from engineering drawings, you will be responsible for producing high-quality work while maintaining safety, efficiency and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have previous boilermaking experience of an excellent standard, be able to work to a tight schedule and be dedicated and proactive. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Fabricate, assemble and weld components to required standards Perform repairs, maintenance and modifications on trailers and related equipment Operate cutting, welding and fabrication equipment safely and effectively Conduct quality checks to ensure work meets company and customer requirements Assist in preparing equipment for final inspection and customer delivery Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Trade qualifications in Boilermaking, Fabrication or a related discipline Previous experience in a fabrication or heavy manufacturing environment Previoous experience working on pressure vessels The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Strong MIG and TIG welding skills as well as oxy cutting experience Excellent fabrication, fitting and grinding skills A commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety The ability to work independently and as part of a team A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn Additional Requirements Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and working in confined spaces when required Flexibility to work reasonable overtime when required Availability to work a half day every second Saturday What We Offer Regular overtime Stable, long-term employment with a successful South Australian family-owned business Opportunity to work on a wide range of custom-built heavy transport equipment Supportive team environment Competitive remuneration based on skills and experience If you take pride in your workmanship, have a passion for welding and fabrication and are looking for a rewarding role with a successful South Australian company, we'd love to hear from you.
