Job Info Location: WINGFIELD, SA Salary: $60,001 - $80,000 Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position Job Description ALDOM TRANSPORT ENGINEERING PTY LTD 280 Cormack Road Wingfield SA 5013 Full Time Metal Fabricator ANNUAL BASE SALARY $77,064 PLUS SUPER DUTIES Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements Selecting, cleaning and preparing metal stock Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines Shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammering Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments Joining metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting and riveting Examining welds for width of bead, penetration and precision Finishing products by cleaning, polishing, filing and bathing in acidic solutions Cleaning and smoothing welds by filing, chiseling and grinding Follow occupational health & safety at all times REQUIRED SKILLS Must hold trade certificate or qualification in welding or fabrication Have at least 2 years work experience as a metal fabricator and knowledge in the industry Ability to work independently and under minimum supervision How to apply: Applications open on 12 May 2026 and close on 11 June 2026.
