The Opportunity Due to continued growth and an expanding pipeline of works, we are seeking an organised and proactive Quality Officer to join our team. This role will support the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of quality systems across multiple construction projects. Working closely with the Quality Manager, project teams and management, you will help ensure works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, company procedures, and industry standards. This position suits someone who enjoys both site and office-based work, has strong attention to detail, and is passionate about maintaining high-quality project outcomes. Key Responsibilities · Development, distribution, and management of Quality Assurance Plans for commencing projects to stakeholders and Superintendents. · Conduct regular site quality inspections to verify compliance with project specifications, standards, and client requirements. · Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of Quality Management Systems across projects, · Assist with the preparation, review, and management of ITPs, checklists, and quality documentation, · Monitor project compliance with client specifications, standards, and company procedures, · Manage quality records, registers, NCRs, corrective actions, and close-out processes, · Assist project teams with quality-related queries and provide practical support on site, · Participate in internal and external audits where required, · Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within project delivery and quality systems, · Liaise with project managers, supervisors, subcontractors, and clients regarding quality requirements, · Support handover documentation and project completion requirements, · Other duties as requested by management. About You · Previous experience in a Quality, CA, HSEQ, or project support role within the civil construction or construction industry, · Understanding of quality assurance processes and construction compliance requirements, · Experience working with quality documentation and project records, · Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail, · Ability to communicate effectively with site teams and management, · Proactive attitude with the ability to work across multiple projects, · Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to manage electronic project and quality documentation. · Experience with ISO standards & quality management systems is highly regarded. · Have a problem-solving mindset. · Be Team-oriented, working collaboratively with project teams to achieve quality outcomes. Essential Requirements · Current C Class Driver’s Licence, · Construction Industry White Card, · Ability to travel to project sites across ACT and nearby NSW, · Asbestos Awareness and Silica Awareness training preferred but not essential.
