Details: The Office of Nature Conservation is seeking a motivated and capable Ecologist to support the Urban Ecology Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to biodiversity conservation outcomes across the ACT. The Urban Ecology team applies spatial and statistical approaches to identify and protect important biodiversity values now and into the future. As part of the Urban Ecology team, the Ecologist will use strong ecological and technical skills to address pressing conservation challenges. The role involves desktop analysis of biodiversity data using GIS, R, and Python, as well as the interpretation and communication of ecological information to inform planning and development decisions.
