About the Role Robway Safety have an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Service Technician to join our service team. You will be trained to a high standard in a supportive team environment to be able to provide exceptional service for our specialised safety products. Responsibilities and duties: Proficiency and Experience in component level PCB repairs. Conduct customer service support (phone/email). Conduct in-house troubleshooting and repair of all Robway Safety and related products. Responsible for developing, documenting, and maintaining service/repair records. Document faults and customer complaints in the QA system and liaise with Technical Engineering and QA to ensure corrective measures are undertaken to prevent recurrence of problems and faults. Provide technical support and assistance to sales staff on special applications to establish and prepare appropriate quotations to customers’ crane systems requirements. Assist production staff with problems relating to product assembly and faults during testing of new systems. Assist in pre-delivery testing of more complex systems to ensure products conform to customers’ specific requirements and applicable standards. After training: Responsible for commissioning more complex systems, including Winch Monitoring Systems and Hazardous Area Systems on various offshore platforms and oil rigs worldwide. Carry out installation, calibration, testing and commissioning of Robway Safety Rated Capacity Indicators and associated instrumentation and control on various cranes and lifting devices in national and international locations. Conduct training courses for company staff, global dealers & customers for installation, calibration, commissioning, servicing, and fault finding as applicable to the crane industry. Carry out testing and field service evaluation of newly developed systems and software using combined skills in electronic load instrumentation and crane industry experience to ensure systems meet specific application requirements. About you This is a long term, full time position for someone who loves fixing and problem solving electronics to assist those around you. Essential Criteria: Certificate III in Electronics Proficient in fixing component level electronics Ability to get a White Card / MSIC. Ability to get a Working with Heights certificate Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Current valid Driver’s Licence Troubleshooting and fault-finding experience.
