Job Highlights $45.65 p/h super Operate quality plant at a major export terminal Ongoing opportunities with varied day, night & weekend shifts About our Role / Project / Client We're seeking a skilled Mobile Plant Operator to support ongoing mineral export operations at a high-performing bulk handling terminal in Townsville. This is hands-on work across a busy port environment, ideal for operators confident in safely managing material movements and working across flexible shifts. You'll be joining a well-run export operation that values safety, teamwork, and reliable operators who take pride in their work. What you'll do Operate Forklifts (LF) and/or RII Front-End Loaders (CAT980 experience preferred) Manage bulk material movements across a live port environment Load and unload rail wagons, trucks, and assist with ship-loading activities Complete pre-starts and follow all safety and environmental procedures Maintain site hygiene standards, including clean-in/clean-out requirements What you'll need Valid Forklift High-Risk Licence (LF) Valid RII Front-End Loader ticket (CAT980 experience desirable) Ability to remain clean shaven for respirator fit testing Ability to pass: Pre-employment medical & functional capacity test Drug & Alcohol screening Blood lead test and ongoing monitoring Benefits $45.65 super (with potential increases based on competency) Full-time casual role with long-term opportunities Operate well-maintained plant on a professional export site Varied shifts across days, nights, and weekends Gain valuable experience in bulk material handling and logistics Ongoing support from your AWX Townsville team Access to discounts on gym memberships, health insurance, retail and more About AWX AWX started out with two blokes, a people problem and a whole lot of grit and that's still how we run.
