3rd / 4th Year Apprentice Painter Archer Building Group Pty Ltd Gold Coast / Brisbane / South East Queensland Full-time Apprenticeship Archer Building Group is a family-run building and renovation company working across South East Queensland. We specialise in insurance repairs, private residential and commercial works, renovations, restoration and make-safe works. We are looking for a reliable and motivated 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Painter to join our growing team. This role would suit someone who already has solid painting experience, takes pride in their work, and wants to continue learning within a professional and supportive construction environment. About the Role You will be working alongside our experienced trades team on a variety of projects, including residential repairs, insurance work, renovations and general painting works. Your duties may include: Surface preparation, sanding, patching and filling Interior and exterior painting Working with different coatings and finishes Assisting with colour matching and touch-ups Maintaining clean and safe work areas Working with supervisors, builders and other trades Following workplace health and safety requirements About You We are looking for someone who is: Currently a 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Painter Reliable, punctual and well-presented Willing to learn and take direction Able to work both independently and as part of a team Proud of producing quality work Respectful when working in clients’ homes and businesses Safety-conscious and organised Requirements To be considered, you will ideally have: Current enrolment in a Painting and Decorating apprenticeship Construction White Card Current driver’s licence and reliable transport Basic tools preferred, but not essential Good communication skills A positive attitude and strong work ethic What We Offer Full-time position with consistent work Supportive team environment Variety of work across SEQ Opportunity to continue developing your skills Professional company culture with strong systems and support Long-term opportunity for the right person At Archer Building Group, our approach is simple: Respond with purpose.
