About the Role As a Survey Assistant, you’ll be a key member of our field survey team. You’ll work on a variety of projects, including design, construction, cadastral, and engineering surveys. With hands-on training and mentorship, you’ll gain practical experience and a deep understanding of surveying best practices. While the role is physically demanding, if you have the right aptitude, you may also be trained to independently use unmanned drones, GPS and survey equipment (under supervision). Key Responsibilities: Preparing survey sites and organising equipment, tools, and pegs for fieldwork. Assist in setting up, operating, and maintaining survey equipment. Assisting surveyors with fieldwork and data collection. Adhering to company QA processes and Health & Safety standards. Taking responsibility for maintaining vehicles, equipment, and supplies. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license. A General Construction Induction Card (or willingness to obtain one). Ability to pass a police check and medicals for site specific access.
