We're an independently owned cafe, bar, restaurant and live music venue built around community, creativity and sustainability. Our kitchen focuses on seasonal, produce-driven food, and we're looking for a Head Chef to help lead and evolve that offering. Known for our quality food, in-house coffee roasting, diverse live music program and welcoming atmosphere, Gang Gang has grown into one of Canberra's most unique hospitality venues. Alongside a year-round calendar of live music and events, we also produce a small festival Sundowner, celebrating some of the country's top emerging artists. This is an opportunity to take ownership of an established kitchen with genuine creative input and the support of an experienced ownership team. The successful applicant will oversee a diverse operation spanning breakfast, lunch and dinner services, alongside a busy calendar of events throughout the year. You'll lead a talented team, develop seasonal menus, and help drive the continued growth of the venue. We've invested heavily in our kitchen, including the recent installation of a new induction cooking suite, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to work with modern, efficient equipment.
