As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly organised and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our team. About the Role The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of products from our manufacturing facility and warehouse to customers. This role coordinates deliveries, manages transport scheduling, liaises with drivers and customers, and ensures orders are delivered accurately, on time, and cost-effectively. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily delivery schedules and transport routes. Liaise with warehouse, production, sales, and customer service teams. Manage third-party transport providers and company delivery vehicles. Monitor delivery performance and resolve transport-related issues. Ensure customer orders are dispatched accurately and on time. Maintain transport documentation and delivery records. Monitor freight costs and identify opportunities for improvement. Track deliveries and communicate proactively with customers regarding delays or issues. Assist with inventory movements between locations. Support continuous improvement initiatives within logistics and distribution operations. Skills & Experience Previous experience in logistics, transport, warehousing, or supply chain coordination. Strong organisational and planning skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office. Experience with ERP, inventory, or logistics software is highly regarded. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities. Attention to detail and commitment to customer service. Desirable Experience Food manufacturing, FMCG, wholesale distribution, or cold-chain logistics experience. Experience with systems such as Fishbowl Inventory, SolBox, Track-POD, Xero, or similar platforms. Knowledge of transport compliance and chain of responsibility requirements.
