Our Service Department is seeking to expand our team with a Full Time position available for an inspection and testing technician. Experience is preferred but not necessary as full training will be provided to the right candidate. The run will be Metro based, but visits to Adelaide Hills and Barossa and Country areas may also be required. Inspection and testing Technician: RNW Fire Services are looking for an applicant with competence in inspection and testing of the following: Fire Alarm Systems. Evacuation/EWIS Systems. Sprinkler Systems. Hydrant systems. Fire Pumps. Portable Fire Equipment. Fire Blankets Fire Hose reels. Emergency Shower/eye wash stations. Exit and Emergency Lights. Fire Doors. Special Hazards. Attributions: Ability to work unsupervised. Highly motivated Excellent communication skills and ability to speak directly with clients to coordinate repairs and schedule works. Legible handwriting. Ability to meet deadlines. Ability to use an Apple iPad and work with Uptick, Dropbox and Microsoft Excel on these devices. Ability to plan, schedule and complete workloads in an efficient manner. Be competent in the use of power tool and understand basic fixing methods. Work flexible hours and overtime. Travel away where required. Must be a permanent Australian Resident. The following qualifications, licences and clearances will be highly regarded: NDIS & DCSI Clearance. Certificate 2 inspection and testing CPP20511 Police clearance. EAHL Licence. Restricted Plumbing Workers Registration SA Current Australian drivers licence. White Card A Full Time position will be awarded to the successful candidate with a company car (take home), IPad, uniform, a phone allowance and above award hourly rate.
