Job Description Food & Beverage Attendant (Waiter) Delta Rue & Wentworth Bar | Sofitel Sydney Wentworth Located within Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, Delta Rue and Wentworth Bar are part of one of Sydney’s most exciting and evolving luxury hospitality precincts. Delta Rue delivers bold Vietnamese-inspired flavours with a refined French touch, operating across breakfast, lunch, and dinner service with both buffet and à la carte offerings. Wentworth Bar brings a high-energy rooftop experience to the CBD, combining premium cocktails, agave spirits, Champagne, DJs, and elevated bar dining within a vibrant rooftop setting. We are currently looking for passionate and service-driven Food & Beverage Attendants to join our team across both venues. This role is suited to individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy creating memorable guest experiences, and are passionate about premium food, beverage, and hospitality. About the Role As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you will deliver warm, attentive, and professional service across restaurant and bar operations. Working closely with venue leadership and kitchen teams, you will help create seamless and memorable guest experiences from arrival through to departure. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional guest service in a professional, engaging, and friendly manner Take food and beverage orders accurately and confidently Maintain strong menu knowledge across food, wine, cocktails, and spirits Assist with breakfast buffet operations and à la carte restaurant service within Delta Rue Support bar and floor service operations within Wentworth Bar Ensure tables, service stations, and venue presentation are maintained to luxury hospitality standards Anticipate guest needs and provide personalised service where possible Work collaboratively with kitchen, bar, and leadership teams to ensure smooth service flow Uphold grooming, service, and operational standards at all times About You Previous experience in a restaurant, bar, hotel, or premium hospitality venue preferred Passion for food, beverage, and guest experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Professional presentation and attention to detail Flexible availability across mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays Wine, cocktail, and spirits knowledge highly regarded Valid NSW RSA Certificate required Perks & Culture At Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, we are passionate about creating an environment where our team feels supported, inspired, and empowered to grow.
