The opportunity We are currently seeking an Underground Mine Technician to join our Geology team at our Duketon operation. In this role, you will provide critical support to geology and mining functions, contributing to grade control processes and underground operational activities. This is a FIFO role, working on an 8:6 roster (ex-Perth). The main responsibilities of this role include: Supporting the Geology team with grade control processes including drilling, development mining and data collection Collecting development face samples and assisting with face and wall mapping Assisting with grade control drilling, core processing, sample collection and data entry Dispatching samples to the laboratory and maintaining accurate sampling records Assisting with underground ore movement and inspecting ore for contamination Maintaining effective communication with mining contractors and internal stakeholders Assisting with maintenance of department vehicles and equipment, ensuring a clean and safe work environment Assisting with geological and engineering project work as required About you To be successful for this role, you will have: Relevant mining or field experience, or working towards a Certificate II in Mining / Field Exploration Demonstrated commitment to safety, teamwork and quality outcomes A proactive, “can do” attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and reliability Experience working in underground mining or a similar environment Basic to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel) A current manual WA driver’s licence What we can offer: Career development opportunities Collaborative work environment where your input matters Employee service awards and employee referral incentive Supportive and highly experienced leadership team Wellbeing support for you and your family for personal and professional matters (EAP) Competitive salary with annual incentives As Regis Resources continues its evolution from mid-tier gold miner to a leading Australian gold producer, this is a unique opportunity to join Regis.
