People & Recruitment Advisor (12-Month Fixed Term Contract) Civcon is seeking an experienced and motivated People & Recruitment Advisor to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract based in West Perth. This role will play a critical part in supporting the business through a period of continued growth, with a strong focus on recruitment, workforce coordination and partnering with leaders to attract and retain quality talent across both corporate and site-based operations. Reporting to the People & Corporate Services Manager, you will work closely with operational leaders across the business to manage end-to-end recruitment and provide hands-on HR support across the employee lifecycle. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced construction environment, can build strong relationships with stakeholders and candidates alike, and takes ownership of delivering practical, commercially focused people outcomes. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Workforce Support Manage end-to-end recruitment across white-collar and blue-collar positions Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and project resourcing needs Coordinate advertising, screening, interviews, reference checks and employment offers Build talent pipelines and maintain strong candidate relationships Support mobilisation, onboarding and pre-employment compliance processes Drive improvements to recruitment processes, systems and candidate experience Human Resources Support Provide general HR advisory support to leaders and employees Support performance review and talent management processes Assist with employee relations matters, investigations and workplace issues Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation Assist with workforce reporting, HR analytics and compliance activities Contribute to employee engagement and continuous improvement initiatives About You You are someone who can balance operational recruitment demands with broader HR support and enjoys being visible and involved across the business. You will ideally have: Previous experience in a HR and recruitment advisory or generalist role Strong end-to-end recruitment experience, ideally within construction, engineering, mining or a blue-collar environment The ability to build credibility and influence stakeholders at all levels Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities A practical and solutions-focused approach High attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality Strong systems and administration capability across HR platforms and Microsoft Office Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline Why Join Civcon?
