Plumbdog Plumbing is looking for a highly organised, commercially minded Accounts & Operations Coordinator to join our growing team in Myaree. This is not your average admin role. This role combines bookkeeping, accounts administration, operational coordination, and scheduling support within a fast-moving trade business. We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, takes ownership, loves structure and systems, and genuinely wants to help build a business — not just work in one. You’ll work directly alongside the Director to help manage the day-to-day operations and financial coordination of a busy plumbing business servicing customers across Perth. From bookkeeping, reconciliations, supplier management, reporting, and payroll support through to scheduling and customer communication — you’ll play a key role in helping keep the business organised, profitable, and operating at a high standard. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us long term and help build the next chapter of the business, including expansion into future trades and service divisions. ✅ What You’ll Be Doing Assisting with Xero bookkeeping and day-to-day accounts administration Daily payment reconciliations, supplier invoice checking, and expense tracking Supporting payroll preparation, timesheet reviews, and financial organisation Monitoring job profitability, reporting, margins, and operational KPIs Working alongside the Director to improve business visibility, reporting, and systems Coordinating daily schedules for plumbing technicians across Perth Handling customer enquiries, bookings, updates, and escalations Supporting day-to-day business operations and workflow management Following up outstanding quotes, invoices, and customer communication Helping maintain internal systems, documentation, and procedures Working closely with field staff to help keep jobs organised, efficient, and profitable Assisting with forecasting, reporting, and business improvement projects Helping strengthen accountability, communication, and workplace culture Jumping into whatever is needed to help the business run efficiently What We’re Looking For Minimum 3–5 years experience in bookkeeping, accounts administration, office coordination, or operations roles Strong working knowledge of Xero and confidence with day-to-day bookkeeping and accounts administration Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Commercial awareness and an interest in business performance and profitability Experience within trades or service-based industries highly regarded Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure Strong communication and problem-solving skills Someone proactive who looks for solutions — not excuses A positive attitude and genuine desire to grow within the business Experience with ServiceM8, Ascora, SimPRO, AroFlo or similar systems is highly regarded Strong Microsoft Excel and Office 365 skills preferred Applicants must have full Australian working rights Must love dogs Why Join Plumbdog?
