About the Role We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to provide community access support to participants with a range of needs. This role involves supporting participants to engage in everyday and meaningful activities such as attending appointments, participating in community and cultural activities, and building confidence in social environments. You will work with a high level of professionalism, initiative, and accountability while delivering supports in line with NDIS expectations. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, participant-led support aligned with participant goals and individual preferences Support safe and meaningful community access Build strong, respectful relationships with participants Navigate and respond to complex behaviours or changing needs where required Maintain accurate, detailed, and compliant progress notes Identify risks, escalate concerns appropriately, and follow organisational procedures Maintain effective communication and work cooperatively within the Djilba Disability Services team environment About You You are an experienced support worker who understands that good support is consistent, respectful, and participant-led. You will demonstrate: Experience supporting people with disability in community settings Strong understanding of professional boundaries and duty of care Confidence working independently and using initiative, when required Ability to build rapport with a wide range of participants Awareness of cultural considerations and respectful practice Strong written communication skills for documentation Demonstrated ability to work within organisational policies, procedures, and operational frameworks.
