Your new role This is a rare opportunity to share the Manager Place Planning role in a part time capacity (3 days a week) with the existing Manager Place Planning (also 3 days a week) for a 2 year period. The Manager Place Planning role is a critical leadership role at the Town of Victoria Park, spearheading the implementation of key city shaping strategies. The Manager of Place Planning leads a multi-disciplinary urban team in an innovative program and place structure. It is a high performing and passionate team with a strong culture and a commitment to delivering great place outcomes. In sharing the Manager Place Planning role you will be responsible for the ongoing development and implementation of the Vic Park Planning Program, Economic Development Program, and Social Infrastructure Program. The Manager Place Planning (Planning and Economic Development) must forge and maintain strong relationships with key delivery teams at the Town; the C-Suite; and key stakeholders in a number of broader alliances. Relevant tertiary qualification/s (urban planning, project management, recreation planning, economic development or similar).
