We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Branch Manager to take ownership of our Atherton store. In this role, you will be responsible for the seamless, efficient operation of the branch across all operational and administrative aspects. Leading a small, dedicated team, you will champion outstanding customer service, manage asset quality, and drive a safe, positive, and fun workplace culture. Key Responsibilities ● Leadership & Culture: Motivate, mentor, and develop a small team, leading by example to foster a supportive and safe work environment. ● Office Administration: Take ownership of daily admin duties, including financial reconciliations, reporting, documentation audits, and staff scheduling. ● Customer Excellence: Deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers, managing online/telephone inquiries and handling dispute resolution with a positive approach. ● Asset & Fleet Management: Oversee equipment rotation, inspect and record returned gear, and coordinate closely with our onsite mechanic to ensure strict quality and maintenance standards. ● Safety & Compliance: Manage safety compliance by undertaking risk assessments and preparing safety packs. ● Operations: Assist with loading/unloading equipment from trucks, refueling, and ensuring the workshop, yard, and service areas are clean and organized. What We Are Looking For ● Proven Leadership: Experience in people management, including training, performance development, and team motivation. ● Strong Admin & Tech Skills: Highly organised with exceptional time management, report-running capabilities, and literacy in Microsoft/Google suites. ● Adaptability & Resilience: A proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can easily pivot as daily priorities change. ● Hands-on Attitude: Willingness to balance office management with physical yard duties (loading, inspecting, and cleaning equipment). ● Industry Experience (Advantageous): Previous experience in the Hire Industry, or a mechanical field is highly regarded.
