With the exciting launch of our brand-new Hoopla Pakenham Kitchen & Bar venue, we are searching for a passionate, and hands-on Assistant Manager to help lead our venue from day one. This is a genuine leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced hospitality environments, understands modern café/restaurant operations, and takes pride in building strong team culture, systems, consistency, and quality. We need the right candidate to assist our venue managers to execute service at a high standard while building and helping to lead an exceptional front of house team. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-paced hospitality, loves developing teams, and leads from the front to deliver exceptional guest experiences. THE ROLE As an Assistant Manager, you will oversee and assist with the day-to-day operations of the venue, including: Confidence in leading, training and developing staff Running efficient, high-quality service periods Overseeing stock control and venue operations Maintaining food safety, OHS and compliance standards Delivering exceptional guest experiences Working closely with senior management to drive performance and culture This is a hands-on position where you’ll be expected to lead from the floor, set standards and assist in building a strong team culture. Weekends and public holidays are essential.
