About Us Industrial Batteries Australia Pty Ltd (IBA), an established leader in the Industrial Battery Industry servicing the Materials Handling, Industrial Equipment and Ground Support Equipment markets, supplying Batteries and Chargers for Electric Forklifts and electric powered Ground Support Equipment. We are growing exponentially, and are currently looking for a reliable, trusted and hands-on Warehouse Service Technician to join our Perth based team, with immediate start currently available. A valid Forklift and Drivers Licence is a requirement for this role. This full-time position is based in our Welshpool WA premises and will play a crucial role in supporting the established Branch. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work and wants to develop new technical skills. You’ll work within our warehouse while also supporting our field service requirements once trained. The job is not difficult, with Standard Operating Procedures in place to ensure compliance and ease of transition - we want someone who has an eye for detail and cares about their position and the Company. The bulk of requirement will centre around build and quality control checks of products, loading and unloading trucks and potential Technical assistance and On site Testing once trained. No battery experience is required — full training will be provided through our dedicated Team. What’s On Offer Stable full-time role with and established growing Company Monday to Friday work (no weekend shifts) Training provided Immediate start available Supportive Team environment About the Role This position includes a mix of warehouse duties while also supporting our exisiting Team with goods preparation and Technical back up, evolving into end user product delivery, Battery installations and Removal and Technical support including product analysis. Your responsibilities will include: Organising deliveries Receiving and loading deliveries Fitting DC and AC plugs onto forklift Batteries and Chargers Quality checking chargers before dispatch and uploading relevant information using a mobile App. Quality checking batteries before dispatch and uploading relevant information using a mobile App. Delivery of products where required using Company supplied MR Licenced Vehicles Uploading job photos and documentation into our system Preparing equipment for our on-road technicians Assisting with basic battery assembly when required Participating in stock takes / preparation Generalised warehouse duties also required About You We’re looking for someone who: Is reliable and takes pride in their work Enjoys hands-on and practical work Is confortable communicating and conversing with Customers and clients Presents in a professional manner Has a general level of common sense and can problem solve Has good attention to detail Is comfortable using a smartphone or mobile apps Is physically fit and capable of manual work Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn Previous experience in warehouse, labouring, trade assistant, or technician support roles is beneficial but not essential.
