About the role We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our team at Peel Community Care Inc' in Pinjarra, WA. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, payroll ,processing transactions, and supporting the overall financial operations of our organisation. What you'll be doing Performing day-to-day accounting tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations Liaise with our clients and/or their representatives, in regard to fees and charges payable, maintaining up to date client account records Assist with weekly payroll processing, ensuring payroll operations comply with relevant regulations Preparing financial reports and statements, including monthly and yearly reports Presenting monthly financial reports to Peel Community Care governance committee Assisting with the preparation of the annual budget and monitoring financial performance against budgets Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures. Contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems What we're looking for Minimal financial qualifications in Cert IV in Accounting and Financial management and/or successful Bookkeeping experience with Xero software or similar Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role in the Aged Care sector. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of the sector including the various funding types. Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical and analytical skills Proficiency in using client management systems such as Sandwai or similar and with Microsoft Office Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and customer service skills Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and a strong ethical approach What we offer At Peel Community Care Inc', we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment.
