The Organisation Miwatj Health Aboriginal Corporation is a not-for-profit Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (ACCHO) delivering holistic primary healthcare across East Arnhem Land. The Role This executive management position provides high-level strategic and operational oversight of several Miwatj Health’s key functions relating to asset management, ICT and other strategic priorities. This position ensures strong and consistent inter-departmental collaboration beyond individual portfolios, particularly in carrying out consultation, best practice change management and project implementation. The role is in Darwin with regular travel to Nhulunbuy. Key Responsibilities Lead organisation-wide asset management and centralised procurement systems Take strategic leadership for the sustained successful delivery of the ICT function noting that operational IT delivery is outsourced to an external service provider Lead the organisation’s strategic and operational risk management Lead the annual business planning process Implement comprehensive project management methodology Contribute as a senior leader and build cross-functional collaboration. Key Skills & Experience Relevant qualifications in Business, ICT, Law or similar Demonstrated high level leadership skills Leadership experience in ICT and/or asset management at strategic level Demonstrated success in project management and organisational change Strong commitment to Aboriginal Community Control and understanding of the ACCO sector Excellent interpersonal communication skills, especially in cross-cultural contexts Ability to travel across East Arnhem Land (including travel in a light aircraft) and a current manual driver’s licence. A base salary of $200-220K is on offer plus superannuation, depending on experience. Standard FBT exemption limits apply: $15,900 for salary sacrificing per FBT year and $2,800 in meal and entertainment benefits per FBT year. This position receives 6 weeks’ annual leave as well as a 1-week Christmas shut down. Generous personal development support is also provided.
