Your new role As the Senior Business Continuity and Emergency Management Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and embedding business continuity, emergency management and crisis response frameworks across the organisation. Key responsibilities include: Developing and implementing business continuity and emergency management strategies, plans and policies aligned to best practice standards Leading preparedness initiatives including training, testing and scenario planning Supporting and coordinating response and recovery activities during emergency events Providing specialist advice to senior leaders on risk, resilience and security matters Building strong partnerships with government agencies, emergency services and key stakeholders Supporting corporate security strategies, including risk mitigation and asset protection You will operate as a central point of coordination, ensuring the organisation is well prepared to respond effectively to a range of emergency scenarios. What you'll need to succeed Experience in business continuity, emergency management or a related field Strong understanding of emergency management frameworks and an all-hazards approach Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders across a complex organisation Experience developing policies, frameworks and response plans Ability to lead or support cross-functional teams in high-pressure environments Relevant tertiary or diploma-level qualifications (dependent on level) Willingness to respond outside standard hours during emergency situations What you'll get in return Opportunity to play a critical role in organisational and community resilience.
