About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrician to join our team, with the opportunity to work on FIFO projects across mine sites and industrial installations. This role offers various opportunities including installation, maintenance, and breakdown support for High-Voltage (HV) and Low-Voltage (LV) electrical systems in predominately underground environments. As an underground electrician, your main role will be to provide day to day maintenance, breakdown, and installation expertise to our clients to ensure the essential continued operation of the electrical plant and equipment. We also have positions available within our projects team operating in locations such as Kalgoorlie to provide installation and maintenance services for our clients. Key responsibilities of the role include: Mine Site Projects (FIFO/DIDO): Install HV and LV cabling, switchgear, substations, and associated electrical infrastructure on mining sites. Site Shift Relief (FIFO): Perform installation and preventative maintenance on underground electrical systems. Complete fault finding, isolations, and inspections to identify faults Perform breakdown repairs on mobile and fixed plant equipment Ensure all work is conducted in line with site safety standards and procedures Skills and Experience To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following: A Current WA Electrical Workers License or relevant electrical trace certificate Current C-Class Driver’s License, Manual Current First Aid and LVR CPR HV Switching Ticket Working at Heights Underground working experience preferred About You You will have the demonstrated ability to accurately fault find and utilise your diagnostics skills in your work.
