Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Team Leader – Behaviour Support Practitioner to provide leadership, clinical guidance and operational support to a team of Behaviour Support Practitioners while maintaining a small, complex caseload. About the Role and your Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a key role in supporting practitioner development, maintaining clinical excellence and ensuring high-quality participant outcomes. You will act as the link between clinical practice and operational delivery while fostering a positive, collaborative and values-driven culture. Some of your responsibilities will include: Providing day-to-day leadership, mentoring and support to a team of Behaviour Support Practitioners Conducting regular team check-ins, supervision sessions and team huddles Supporting practitioners to manage workloads, billable targets and documentation requirements Providing clinical guidance on behaviour support, ethical decision-making and best practice service delivery Reviewing the quality of Positive Behaviour Support Plans, progress notes and reporting Assisting practitioners to navigate complex cases while maintaining human-rights-based practice Contributing to staff development, performance reviews and professional growth planning Supporting quality improvement, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives Managing incidents, complaints and compliance requirements in line with NDIS standards Maintaining a reduced but complex clinical caseload to remain connected to practice delivery Working collaboratively with senior leaders to improve systems, processes and service outcomes Promoting a positive, inclusive and values-driven team culture across the organisation Skills and Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, Behavioural Science, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Education or a related field Registration or eligibility for registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner Demonstrated experience delivering Positive Behaviour Support services within the disability sector Previous leadership, mentoring, supervision, training or team coordination experience highly regarded Strong understanding of NDIS Practice Standards, restrictive practice requirements and human-rights frameworks Excellent interpersonal, coaching and communication skills Ability to balance team support with operational accountability Strong organisational, problem-solving and time management skills Ability to provide constructive feedback and support practitioner development Commitment to continuous learning, professional growth and leadership development Current Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain Current Driver's Licence Full Australian working rights Benefits: Generous salary package of $110k to $125k plus Super and Bonus Leadership opportunity within a highly respected and growing organisation Ongoing professional development, leadership training and mentoring support Reduced clinical caseload to allow focus on leadership and team development Collaborative, supportive and values-driven culture Opportunity to influence service quality, practitioner development and organisational growth Make a meaningful difference in the lives of participants while helping practitioners thrive in their careers How to Apply: If you are an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner ready to step into a leadership position and help shape a high-performing team, we would love to hear from you.
