The Opportunity Austin has an exciting permanent, full‑time leadership opportunity for a Global Head of Human Resources to join our organisation. Reporting at an executive level, this role will lead and shape Austin’s global people and culture strategy across multiple regions. Working in close partnership with the Executive Leadership Team and the Board, you will play a critical role in driving organisational performance, workforce capability, strong governance and sustainable growth aligned to Austin’s strategic objectives. You will have end‑to‑end accountability for the global HR function, setting strategic direction while ensuring operational excellence and consistent people practices across diverse regions. The role encompasses executive and Board remuneration, talent and succession planning, workforce strategy, employee relations, HR systems and global compliance. You will also play a key role in managing organisational risk and supporting the business through periods of growth and transformation. About You To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong combination of strategic leadership, commercial acumen and deep HR expertise, ideally gained within complex, global industrial environments. Key requirements include: · Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Psychology or Business (post‑graduate qualifications or professional development desirable); · Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to align people strategy to business outcomes; · Demonstrated success in developing and executing global HR strategies within complex organisations; · Occasional international and domestic travel is required; · Broad expertise across all HR functions, including governance, remuneration, talent, performance and employee relations; · Proven experience in a similar senior HR leadership role within the industrial sector; · Experience operating within manufacturing, heavy fabrication and/or mining services environments (desirable); · Demonstrated experience operating at Executive and Board level, including effective engagement with Boards and Board Committees of ASX‑listed companies; · Strong understanding of ASX governance requirements and the role of HR in organisational risk management; and · Experience operating within industrial environments across Australia, Indonesia, Chile and USA (desirable).
