Job Opportunity To support the Senior Development Staff in delivering a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial projects across all stages of the development lifecycle. The successful candidate will help to bring project vision, strategy and commercial objectives to life while ensuring programs and key deliverables are successfully achieved. You will work across the full development lifecycle, from acquisition, feasibility and due diligence through to delivery and settlement, gaining exposure to all aspects of the business. The Role In this role, you will gain hands on development/project experience by supporting Senior Development Staff to deliver land development and property projects that align with business objectives. You will assist in the assembly and delivery of these projects, contributing to the development of diverse and impactful land and property solutions. You will be hands-on across all stages of the development process. You will assist with preparation of feasibility assessments, coordinate consultants, navigate planning approvals, manage project budgets and programs that drives project success and delivery. You will be in the detail, on-site, and adding value from day one. Key Responsibilities Demonstrate an understanding of procurement, cost control and forecasting processes. Provide administrative support and prepare project reporting across multiple developments. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform project strategies. Assist in the coordination of acquisitions, working collaboratively with key stakeholders. Work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, under the guidance of the Project Director and Senior Development Staff, to support successful project delivery. Support project and profit centre management, coordinating stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered within agreed strategy, program and financial parameters. Assist with compliance of W Development WHS policies and procedures. About you The successful candidate will hold a relevant tertiary qualification and/or have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the property or development industry. In addition, it is expected that you enjoy working on complex residential projects and are comfortable building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including government authorities, consultants and contractors. An understanding of financial analysis, modelling and budgeting is considered desirable. Most importantly, you are a collaborative team player, willing to learn and ready to take ownership. We are looking for someone who is ambitious, curious, and ready for challenge. Ideally, you will bring: Degree qualifications in Property, Civil Engineering, Valuation, Project Management or Finance and/or 2 years’ experience in large-scale land development (consultancy or client-side) Solid understanding of project management and acquisition principles. Experience with financials, feasibility studies, and modelling Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with community groups and government authorities A solutions-focused mindset and passion for creating great outcomes Can confidently negotiate with a contractor to achieve project outcome.
