Small Engine Mechanic Beacon Equipment – Canning Vale, WA Beacon Equipment is seeking an experienced and motivated Small Engine Mechanic to join our team in Canning Vale on a full-time basis. Working with leading brands including Stihl, John Deere, and Kioti, you will play a key role in servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of equipment used across the mining, agricultural, and power equipment industries. About the Role Your responsibilities will include: Diagnosing and repairing petrol, diesel, 2 strokes, hydraulic, and electrical faults Performing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance Conducting inspections to minimise equipment breakdowns and downtime Maintaining accurate service records and documenting parts used Assisting with technical troubleshooting and workshop support Participating in occasional field service work Contributing to workshop efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard About You To succeed in this role, you will have: A relevant trade qualification or demonstrated industry experience Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills Experience working with a variety of machinery and tools Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship The ability to work both independently and within a small team Good communication and problem-solving skills Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic What We Offer At Beacon Equipment, we value our team and provide a supportive, team-focused workplace with guidance from an experienced Workshop Manager.
