CNC Machinist (First Class) Westurn Engineering – Stake Hill WA (near Mandurah) Full-Time | Rotating Shifts | Competitive Pay Overtime Super ABOUT US Westurn Engineering is a well-established CNC machining business with a team of 26 and a reputation for quality and reliability across the mining, defence, agriculture, automotive, and marine sectors. We’ve recently moved into a brand-new, purpose-built facility in Stake Hill, just off the freeway near Mandurah, and continue to invest in state-of-the-art equipment to support our growing client base. With 15 CNC machines (including Okuma 3 & 4 axis mills and lathes, plus Fanuc EDM wire cutting), we offer a clean, modern workshop and a great culture — over half our team has been with us for more than 5 years and many over a decade. ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for a CNC Machinist (First Class) to join our skilled team. This is a full-time, permanent position on a rotating roster: 9 weeks days: Monday to Friday, 7am–3:30pm 3 weeks nights: Monday to Thursday, 4:30pm–3am The role includes: Programming and operating Okuma CNC machines (Fanuc-based control) Machining steel, stainless, aluminium, and some plastics (Acetal/Nylon) Producing a mix of high-volume production and one-off parts Performing quality checks on your own and others’ work Occasionally assisting with mechanical assembly or fitting tasks ABOUT YOU We’re looking for someone with strong practical skills, a focus on quality, and a proactive attitude.
