Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated Painter / Blaster to join our rapidly growing team in Darwin. Initial focus will be hands on running the day-to-day duties, working closely with supervision and management to successfully complete site awarded contracts. This is a fantastic opportunity for career progression and would strongly suit a self-motivated person.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for painting using sanding, blasting, or mechanical methods
Apply paint and protective coatings using brush and roller techniques
Ensure all work meets project specifications and quality standards
Comply with safety protocols at all times
Collaborate effectively with team members on assigned projects

Skills and Experience:

Experienced in industrial or commercial painting
Solid understanding of safety protocols and PPE requirements in industrial settings
Physically capable of performing manual labor and demanding tasks
Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively on-site

Qualifications:

Minimum of two years’ painting experience or a trade certificate in surface preparation
OHS Construction Induction White Card (Essential)
Valid Driver’s License
Confined Space Entry certification (Desired)
Fire Sentry Training certification (Desired)
Must be able to hold and obtain a National Police Clearance (Essential)
