Reporting to the Mental Health Manager, you will provide culturally safe, strengths-based support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men or women, helping improve wellbeing, healing, and community connection. In this role, you will: Delivering case management and wellbeing support Conducting holistic assessments and care planning Facilitating gender-specific yarning circles and group sessions Supporting mental health education and help-seeking Collaborating with social workers, family violence practitioners, and community services Maintaining accurate case notes and referrals Please Note: These are Identified Positions applicants must be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent, as permitted under Section 50(d) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (WA). You'll join a tight-knit team of eight , including social workers and family violence practitioners, all working together to support healing and resilience. Led by a supportive, client-focused Mental Health Manager , the team thrives on collaboration, shared knowledge, and respect. With a manageable caseload of around 20 clients , and the opportunity to run yarning circles and group sessions , you’ll have the time and support to build real relationships and deliver care that truly makes a difference, not just in the moment, but for generations to come.
