Offer is long term only, at least 2 years, full time contract, and base salary will be $70.000,00 per year plus superannuation Must have a Certificate III in Culinary or similar. Experience of at least 1 year in the field is a must, knowledge and professional background in Italian cuisine is an extra that will be much considered. As a Kitchen Hand you will be required to: - Assist with basic food preparation as directed (e.g. washing, peeling, chopping, portioning, mise en place support); - Support chefs during service by restocking ingredients and assisting with simple plating/handovers under supervision; - Operate dishwashing area and clean, sanitise, store kitchen equipment and utensils; - Maintain kitchen hygiene by cleaning and sanitising benches, work areas, floors, sinks, bins, and equipment during and after service; - Follow food safety and hygiene procedures, including safe food handling and cross contamination prevention; - Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, including labelling and rotating stock and correct storage in cool room/freezer/dry storage; - Comply with WHS requirements, including safe manual handling and safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Must have good working ethic, ability to work under pressure, flexibility. Roster will be 5days per week.
