Our client is seeking a Procurement, Contracts & Purchasing Advisor to join a busy local government team in Perth. This is a temporary role supporting a key procurement function, providing specialist advice and guidance across purchasing, contracts, and tendering activities. You’ll play an important part in ensuring compliant and efficient procurement processes while the organisation undergoes a major ERP transition to TechnologyOne (CiAnywhere) and the 1System Supply Chain module. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong procurement experience who enjoys working in a structured environment, supporting stakeholders, and contributing to process improvement and system change. What you’ll be doing: Supporting procurement, contracting, and purchasing activities including RFQs, RFTs, EOIs, and supplier engagement Providing advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on procurement policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Assisting with the rollout and transition to the 1System ERP (TechnologyOne) Supply Chain module Supporting contract management activities and ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date Delivering first-line procurement support and resolving day-to-day purchasing queries Working closely with teams to improve procurement processes and service delivery What you’ll need: Experience in procurement, contract management, or purchasing within a structured environment Knowledge of tendering processes including RFQs, RFTs, and EOIs Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities Confident communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to provide advice and support in line with policies and compliance requirements Experience with ERP or procurement systems highly regarded (TechnologyOne desirable) Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience What’s in it for you: Opportunity to support a major ERP system transition project Varied role with exposure to procurement, contracts, and systems improvement Supportive team environment within a structured organisation How to apply: To complete your application for this position please click on the "APPLY" button.
