Prep & Events Chef roles available at both Senior and Mid-Junior levels. Senior Chefs lead on-site event execution, overseeing food service and team coordination. Prep Chefs support kitchen preparation and work as part of the on-site events team, assisting with service and set-up. Flexible casual positions available - licence a plus! KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY EVENT PREPARATION & EXECUTION Assist with food preparation for events and catering orders Follow prep lists and direction from senior chefs Support event set-up, service, and pack-down Maintain quality and presentation standards across all food Senior chefs to lead event execution and supervise teams on-site FOOD SAFETY & CLEANLINESS Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace Follow food safety and hygiene procedures Assist with stock rotation, labelling, and storage TEAMWORK & PROFESSIONALISM Work collaboratively within the kitchen and events team Communicate clearly and take direction well Present professionally and uphold Aplenty’s standards at all times SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 1–3 years experience in commercial kitchens or catering Passion for food, events, and hospitality Ability to work in fast-paced environments Food Safety Certificate desirable Driver’s Licence an advantage PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES Reliable and hardworking Positive attitude and team-focused Strong attention to detail Calm and adaptable under pressure Professional presentation and communication LOCATION Based out of our Redfern prep kitchen and event locations across Sydney and beyond.
