Now to the serious stuff About the role Indicium Dynamics is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Business Operations Co-ordinator to join our team in our Cambridge, Tasmania office. In this full-time role (part-time negotiable) you'll support the Head of Strategic Operations by running the day-to-day operational backbone across Indicium Dynamics and Fire Foresight. The role combines executive support with business administration, finance operations support, procurement and inventory coordination, and light people operations administration. The focus is on reliable execution, strong follow through, and continuous improvement of internal workflows and documentation. What you'll be doing Executive Support: Coordinate, schedule and record meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for key stakeholders General Administration and Office Operations: Own general administration, maintain key business registers, support internal system implementation. Finance and Bookkeeping: Manage AP/AR processes, expenses and reconciliations, maintain financial records and contract registers, and support timely monthly reporting and account preparation. Procurement and inventory management: Oversee procurement processes, manage suppliers and inventory, maintain stock levels and records, and coordinate equipment movements for deployments and maintenance. People Operations Administration: Maintain employee and contractor records, support onboarding and recruitment admin, track leave, and keep training and compliance records up to date. Process implementation and continuous improvement: Develop and maintain SOPs, improve documentation consistency, resolve operational inefficiencies, and support new role rollouts with clear workflows and handovers. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow through. Comfort working with finance administration and documentation, including invoices, expenses, and basic reconciliation support. Experience coordinating procurement, suppliers, and office operations. High quality written communication and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion. Strong systems mindset and confidence improving workflows and documentation. Desirable Experience supporting technical or field operations environments with equipment and inventory management. Familiarity with common bookkeeping and expense tools and practices.
