Working in partnership with Indigo Junction and Kids First Australia, the T120 Coordinator will lead the INROADS program and support a team of Community Youth Support Workers. Together, you will provide intensive, strengths-based and culturally safe support to young people with complex needs who are at risk of entering or returning to the justice system. This role works closely with young people, families, community organisations, government agencies and the Children's Court to ensure coordinated support, positive outcomes and lasting change. About the Program The INROADS program was established through the Perth Children's Court in 2023 as a therapeutic alternative to detention for young people who may otherwise be remanded to Banksia Hill Detention Centre. As the T120 Coordinator, you will oversee the delivery of early intervention and case management services that support young people and their families to overcome challenges, build on their strengths and create positive pathways for the future. The role focuses on: Supporting young people through the INROADS court process. Coordinating individualised, strengths-based case plans. Encouraging engagement in education, training and positive recreational activities. Building independent living skills and positive community connections. Assisting families to access housing, health, education and other support services. Working collaboratively with stakeholders to reduce reoffending and improve long-term outcomes. Essential Qualifications & Experience Certificate IV in Youth Work, Child, Youth and Family Intervention, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience leading or supervising youth work, case management, or community service teams. Demonstrated experience supporting young people experiencing trauma, complex needs, and barriers to education, employment, or wellbeing. Strong understanding of trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally safe practice. Ability to engage young people and families in developing and achieving individual goals and case plans. Experience working collaboratively with community services, government agencies, and key stakeholders. Commitment to empowering young people and ensuring their voice remains central to service delivery. Skills & Attributes Strong communication, relationship-building, and report-writing skills.
