Senior Infrastructure Engineer | Virtualisation, Networks & Gateway Platforms Compas is seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support major ICT infrastructure uplift, refresh and sustainment initiatives across secure enterprise environments. This role will suit a technically strong engineer with experience across virtualised server fleets, secure gateway technologies, network services, storage, data centres and infrastructure support. Location: ACT Contract Duration: 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027, with up to 2 x 12-month extension options Security Clearance Requirement: Current Baseline clearance required Closing Date: 10:00am, Wednesday, 27 May 2026 Essential Tasks: Provide technical expertise to projects and lead key infrastructure deliverables. Maintain, monitor, upgrade and support virtualised service environments and servers. Undertake enhancement, remediation and support activities across network, gateway and data centre services. Support infrastructure capacity planning, operational improvements and level 2/3 resolver activities. Key Criteria: Strong experience in IT infrastructure maintenance, updates and operational procedures. Proven ability to lead systems installation, decommissioning and project delivery activities. Experience designing large or complex systems and assessing technical trade-offs. Strong problem management skills across systems, processes and services.
