Position Overview We are growing rapidly, scaling up our services and building our team. The role is an entry level position and provides an opportunity to work and grow in many different aspects of the business. Tasks will include: Work at construction sites, our warehouse, our office in Canberra CBD and interstate. Install turnstiles and other Simpel hardware Service visits to carry out repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics Provide strong technical and implementation support Participate in research and development of IoT hardware Write short reports about site visits Stocktake, ordering, quality assurance and other works associated with Simpel hardware Liaise with clients on the phone, by email and face to face Develop a detailed understanding of Simpel hardware and software Test new releases to our technology to assure quality Interstate travel between the company’s offices and sites General errands Your Skills Able to use correct manual handling techniques Able to troubleshoot problems affecting functioning of turnstiles whilst on construction sites Able to travel to various construction sites to inspect and repair turnstiles Able to use hand tools and power tools Have a good understanding of technology and the ability to learn new programs Have a driver’s license Have a White Card or are willing to complete white card training Electrical trade skills / Electrician are highly desirable What sets you apart from the rest You’re willing to take on physically demanding tasks and get your hands dirty You’re consistently punctual and can be relied upon You have a positive attitude and are well presented You work well in a team as well as being a self-starter Can add creativity and original thinking to their tasks and their workplace Have a high attention to detail and the ability to multitask How to apply If you are passionate about joining a rapidly growing software company, please submit your resume.
