About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function across our mining, mobile plant, fixed plant, and site infrastructure operations. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing maintenance strategies that maximise equipment availability, improve reliability, and support safe, efficient production outcomes. This is a senior site-based leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a remote operational environment and enjoys building strong teams, systems, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all maintenance activities across mobile and fixed plant equipment Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs Ensure maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard Manage maintenance planning, scheduling, shutdowns, and contractor performance Drive equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives Monitor maintenance budgets, inventory, and procurement requirements Mentor, coach, and develop maintenance personnel and supervisors Ensure compliance with statutory, environmental, and safety obligations Collaborate closely with mining and processing teams to optimise operational performance Key Selection Criteria: Relevant Trade Qualification (Diesel Fitter / Boiler Maker / Electrician) or equivalent G189 Supervisor Course or equivalent Experience – 3-5 years as a Maintenance Superintendent Demonstrated experience in a Maintenance Manager or senior maintenance leadership role within mining, mineral processing, quarrying, or heavy industry Demonstrated ability in WRAC, JSEA, Take 5 processes Strong technical knowledge of fixed plant, crushing, processing, and mobile mining equipment maintenance Proven ability to develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance strategies Experience leading maintenance teams in remote or site-based operational environments Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills with the ability to build high-performing teams Sound understanding of maintenance planning, scheduling, shutdown management, and reliability improvement processes Experience managing maintenance budgets, contractors, procurement, and inventory control Commitment to workplace health, safety, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement Proficiency with CMMS and maintenance management systems Ability to work collaboratively with operations, processing, and site leadership teams to achieve production targets Current driver’s licence EQR Values in Action for This Role: Act Safe.
