CNC Brake Press Operator Annual Salary $79,499 We currently have permanent positions (38 hour week with overtime available) at our Lonsdale site. Candidates with Engineering or Factory backgrounds are encouraged to apply Duties & Responsibilities: -Strong knowledge of brake press machinery and tooling. -Can operate a press brake to manufacture components from sheet metal or metal plates. -Prepares, sets up, and adjusts press brake as required by product plans and production schedules. -Ensures that there are sufficient raw materials available. -Measures and aligns materials to be used. -Inspects products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications. -Performs routine maintenance on the press brake. -Maintains a clean work area. -Performs other related duties as assigned. -The ability to read engineering drawings. -Comply with safety standards and procedures. -Attention to quality and detail. -Positive attitude and teamwork. Requirements and Experience: -At least five years of experience in press operating, metal fabrication or related work preferred. -Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans. -Solid computer and math skills. -Diploma, Degree, or above level of experience -Physically able to operate the press brake. -Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials. -Must be able to lift 20kg at a time.
