The Business Management team is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated professional to fill the position of Assistant Director, Financial Reporting & Systems commencing immediately for a period of eight months. This position is part of a dynamic team reporting to the Senior Director, Business Management and Reporting. The position performs the capital financial functions and financial reporting to support business units using systems such as Oracle, CAMPS, TM1 and APIAS. The roles primary responsibilities are: Coordinate and effectively manage all aspects of capital works reporting and budgeting for all CED-funded capital projects. Prepare financial reports, analysis and advice that meet the needs of Infrastructure Development Delivery. Prepare the Commonwealth reporting for all commonwealth projects in conjunction with the Assistant Director, Reporting. Assist in managing the TM1 reporting system that supports internal and external financial reporting, budgeting, asset registers and capital works. Assist preparations of monthly reconciliations and provide assistance for other transactional processing, including accounts payable and accounts receivable activities and preparation of journals Manage the financial completion of projects, including the capitalisation of costs in accordance with accounting standards and organisational policies. Assist with the implementation of processes to ensure the recording of meaningful and accurate financial information in liaison with the Chief Financial Officer team Contribute to projects and activities within the Infrastructure Development Delivery Business Unit as required.
