We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person with a strong skillset to join our Revenue and Concessions Policy team in Treasury. The role will have a strong emphasis on evaluation of the policy outcomes of ACT taxation settings. It will support the delivery of key government priorities and commitments, including the ACT tax reform program, revenue related election commitments, and optimising the lease variation charge to support the delivery of additional new housing. Familiarity with these topics and related policy considerations would be advantageous. Eligibility/Other requirements: The following qualifications are highly desirable: Economics or a relevant tertiary degree qualification in a similar field; and Experience in R or similar statistical software. Notes: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. The merit pool may be used for vacancies within the Economic Policy and Commercial Branch as well as the broader Economic and Financial Group.
