An exciting newly created opportunity has become available for a Senior Accounts Officer to join our in-house Finance team at Grace Loves Lace – a world-renowned bridal brand celebrated for redefining bridal fashion with effortless elegance and sustainability at its core. Based at our Gold Coast HQ, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking to take ownership within a collaborative and values-driven team. Working closely with our CFO and finance team, you’ll support the day-to-day financial operations across our global business while contributing to process improvements and the continued growth of the finance function. We are open to considering candidates from a variety of backgrounds - whether you are a qualified accounting professional or an experienced Bookkeeper looking to step into a broader senior finance role. Key Responsibilities Process accounts payable transactions and complete weekly AP account reconciliations Process accounts receivable transactions and complete regular AR reconciliations Complete daily bank reconciliations across relevant accounts Assist with monthly balance sheet reconciliations Assist with the preparation and review of payroll as needed by the finance team Support timely external lodgment of payroll-related obligations Manage the Accounts and Customer Accounts mailboxes, resolving queries from internal and external stakeholders Liaise with the inventory and procurement teams to ensure purchase orders are billed correctly Answer and follow up payment and supplier queries in a timely manner Complete accurate data entry across finance systems Prepare reports as requested by management and identify opportunities to improve existing finance processes Treat all finance and payroll information in the strictest confidence Essential Knowledge & Skills Previous experience in a senior accounts, AP/AR or finance officer role with a strong understanding of contemporary accounts practices Demonstrated experience across AP, AR, bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations Exposure to payroll processing or payroll review, with multi-jurisdiction experience highly regarded Experience with industry-recognised business systems such as NetSuite, SAP or similar Extensive knowledge and experience using Excel is essential Intermediate computer skills and strong MS Office knowledge Exceptionally high attention to detail and accuracy Highly effective time management skills and the ability to meet daily goals and deadlines Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Strong customer service approach when dealing with internal and external stakeholders Highest level of integrity, honesty and discretion when handling confidential finance and payroll information Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and 'can do' attitude Skilled with computers and the ability to easily learn new systems Alignment with the Grace Loves Lace Mission and Values Our Benefits: Product discounts of 30% to 50% for yourself, your family, and friends.
