This is a fast-paced senior role where your expertise, initiative, and attention to detail will truly matter. We are seeking a seasoned finance professional with strong Accounts Payable experience working in complex systems, along with the ability to adapt quickly and work flexibly within a dynamic business. You’ll take ownership of the Accounts Payable function, using your meticulous approach to drive efficiency, maintain robust controls, and support the wider business with timely and accurate financial processing. This is a hands-on role that goes far beyond data entry, offering the opportunity to problem-solve, improve processes, and make a genuine impact across the finance function. Experience using enterprise systems such as SAP and Viewpoint will be highly regarded. As a trusted senior member of the team, you’ll also be comfortable supporting Accounts Receivable when required, including leave backfill, providing an excellent opportunity to further develop your exposure across the broader finance function. Hybrid working – opportunity to work from home up to two days per week Flexibility that works for you – adjustable working hours available Excellent career potential – we have doubled in size in the last two years Join a great team where people want to come to work – we are a certified “Great Place to Work” Attractive Gold Coast head office location with collaborative workspaces, fully equipped kitchen and free parking Responsibilities Processing of corporate invoices into Viewpoint Process payment runs across multiple entities, including investigating discrepancies Resolving queries received via email and phone regarding vendor invoices and communicating solutions effectively to both external and internal stakeholders Onboarding vendors across multiple systems Develop and maintain good relationships with vendors and staff to improve the productivity and efficiency of processes within the accounts and greater finance team Reconciling monthly supplier statements across multiple entities Ensuring all Accounts Payable processes meet SEE standards to ensure compliance for GST, FBT, PTRS and TPAR Contribute to the development and review of Accounts Payable procedures Facilitate credit card processing including issuing of statements, processing of payments, reconciling and monthly accruals Essential Skills and Attributes Strong Accounts Payable experience including running payment runs across multi-company organisations Experience in an Accounts Receivable role including debt collection Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong initiative and ability to multitask across multiple companies Excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders Accurate data entry skills and attention to detail Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships Computer literacy, particularly experience working with MS Office (Excel particularly) and ERP systems An understanding of ERPs and experience in system improvements will be highly regarded What’s next?
