This role is responsible for applying simple solutions for complex problems and providing professional guidance and mentorship while working within and across multi-disciplinary teams to achieve best practice. Who We’re Looking For You’ll thrive in this role if you have: Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of strategic planning and heritage management including relevant state and local legislation and frameworks. Highly developed negotiation, problem solving and decision-making skills to navigate complex and competing issues to deliver effective solutions. Strong experience in reviewing and preparing policies, plans and strategies, including local planning schemes and amendments. Strong experience in heritage management including the preparation of heritage surveys, lists, policies and guidelines. Tertiary level qualifications in Urban Planning or a related discipline.
