Horse Trainer Manager at Yandoo Equestrian Services Location Ebenezer, NSW, Australia About the Role Yandoo Equestrian Services is seeking an experienced and passionate Horse Trainer Manager to join our professional equestrian team. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with extensive horse knowledge, strong stable management experience, and the ability to oversee both horse care and staff operations in a busy performance stable environment. The successful applicant will play a vital role in managing the daily operations of the stable, maintaining horse health and welfare, coordinating staff, and training horses across multiple disciplines including Hunter, Equitation, and Showjumping. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of the stable Supervise and support stable staff Manage Rostering Assist with hiring and training of employees Develop and enforce feeding, cleaning, and exercise schedules Monitor horse health and coordinate veterinary and farrier visits Administer prescribed medications and treatments Manage feed, supplements, equipment, and inventory Ensure stables, yards, and equipment are maintained to a high standard Prepare horses, gear, and supplies for competitions and shows Train horses according to individual programs and disciplines Work closely with competition riders on horse development Maintain accurate horse records and care documentation Safely handle and manage stallions in both training and stable environments Ride and school horses with a high standard of flatwork About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Extensive horse handling and training experience Demonstrated experience handling stallions is essential High-level flatwork riding skills Grooming experience at FEI 3★ level or above preferred Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent understanding of horse health, nutrition, and stable management Experience managing staff within a stable environment Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced setting High attention to detail and strong communication skills A proactive and adaptable attitude A current HR licence or articulated vehicle licence is essential, experience transporting horses on interstate trips or equivalent.; Employment Details Full-time position Standard 38-hour work week with additional hours as required Competitive salary package Free onsite furnished accommodation included Supportive and professional working environment Why Join Us?
